Okay, so I finally got around to applying for a Fiji passport. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but it definitely took some time and effort. Here’s how it went down:

Once I had my appointment locked in, I had to gather all the necessary documents. This included filling out the Fiji Passport Application Form. It was a bit of a pain, but I got through it. One note: if you’re applying for a kid under 12, you need a special passport photo. And for adopted kids, there’s extra paperwork, like a copy of the adoption order.

The day of the appointment finally came. I showed up, documents in hand, feeling a little nervous, not gonna lie. I went inside, and there was a bit of a wait, but nothing too crazy. They called my name, and I went up to the counter.

The person who helped me was actually pretty nice. We went through all my paperwork, and they checked everything to make sure it was all filled out correctly. They took my photo right there, which was convenient. I gotta say that is pretty nice.

After everything was submitted, they told me it would take a few weeks to process. They gave me a receipt and a tracking number so I could keep tabs on the status of my application. They also told me for general enquiries I can call 3321622 or email them.

And that was it! Now I’m just waiting for my new Fiji passport to arrive in the mail. I’m pretty stoked to finally have it. It is such a great feeling. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, just a bit time-consuming.
