The Easiest Way to Order Fiji Islands ID Card: Follow This Guide!

I’ve always wanted a Fiji ID card, not to live there, just wanted to have one, you know? It’s a cool souvenir. So, I decided to get one, and let me tell you, it was quite a journey.

First, I searched the internet to see how to get one, and I found some info about a company called “Idcardsfiji”. I mean that’s the name that kept popping up. They make custom printed ID cards with photos and stuff. Sounds promising, right? So, I dug a little deeper.

I found their address, 28 Suva Street, Suva, Fiji, and an email address. I shot them an email asking about getting an ID card. I waited for a reply. Then I got an email back with a bunch of instructions. They needed some documents and, of course, payment. They had a phone number, 3319326, but I decided to stick with email for now.

From what I could gather, foreigners need an ID card in Fiji, which is issued to non-citizens who live or work there. This ID card is a joint thing between the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service and the Fiji National Provident Fund. Fancy, huh?

So I followed their instructions. I filled out a form – they call it a “joint card request form” – and I gathered my documents. I even had to get my birth certificate involved. It was like applying for a passport all over again, but simpler.

I double-checked everything to make sure I followed all their steps. Valid passport, all that jazz. Then I sent them everything they asked for. I paid them. Now, the waiting game begins.
