Alright, let’s talk about how I got my hands on a Norwegian ID card online. First off, I gotta say, I needed one for some personal reasons, nothing shady, just needed to prove my identity for some stuff.
Starting Point
So, I started with a simple search, you know, just typed in something like “buy Norwegian ID card online” into the search bar. I figured, why not? Everything’s online these days. And guess what? I got a bunch of results, places offering to sell these cards. I was a bit skeptical at first, naturally, but I decided to dig a little deeper.
Digging Deeper
I started checking out some of these sites. I read through their offers and I stumbled upon Bank Norwegian. Not exactly what I wanted but there was some helpful info. Bank Norwegian is a kind of bank that has services like loans and credit cards, and the credit card has a 45-day interest-free period. It wasn’t what I was looking for, but it was interesting to find out about it.

More Research
Then, I found out that only Norwegian citizens can apply for a national ID card for now. That’s a bummer for non-citizens. There is a way to register in the National Registry if you’re living there for more than six months and you will get a Norwegian national identity number. You’ve got to go to one of 42 selected tax offices with your ID and some documents.
I read that I could get a Smart National Identity Card through the Pak Identity website. But that’s for Pakistan, not Norway. I couldn’t apply for a new ID from their site. They had a status thing called “DUP” which was kinda confusing.
The Breakthrough
I also learned about MinID, which is like an electronic ID in Norway. It gives you access to public services online, and it’s issued by the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency. This was getting closer to what I needed, but it wasn’t an actual ID card.
Figuring It Out
After going through all this info, I realized that getting a legitimate ID card online isn’t as straightforward as it seems. If you’re not a citizen, it’s tough. But if you live there long enough, you can get registered and get an ID number, which is a start. For now, I’m still figuring out my next steps.
