How to Order Iraqi Passport Online: Quick and Secure Process!

Alright, so I wanted to get an Iraqi passport, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. First thing I did was look up what I needed. Turns out, you gotta fill out this passport form, and make sure all the info matches your Iraqi documents. They had a link to the form online, but I can’t share it here, sorry. Also, you’ll need your Iraqi personal ID.

Next, I figured out the actual steps to get the passport. Apparently, you gotta go to a bank that’s approved by the Central Bank of Iraq. There, you pay the fee for the passport application, which is like 25,000 Iraqi dinars, or around 20 bucks. Yeah, that’s not too bad, right?

Who Can Apply

• Citizenship: Only Iraqi citizens can apply.

Application Process

• Visit: I went to the relevant Passport Office.
• Submit: I handed in all the required documents.
• Bank Cheque: I got a bank cheque from one of the authorized banks.
• Fill Out Form: I filled out an application form they gave me there.

Now, about filling out that application form. It was a bit tricky to be honest. You gotta make sure all the details are right. And you need to bring some ID documents and photos with you. I made sure everything was in order, didn’t want any issues.

After submitting everything, I just had to wait. They told me it takes a few weeks to process. It felt like forever, but eventually, I got a notification saying my passport was ready! I went back to the Passport Office, picked it up, and boom – I was officially an Iraqi passport holder!
