Okay, here is my sharing about applying for a Montserrat visa.
So, I wanted to go to Montserrat for a little getaway. First things first, I gotta get a visa. I heard they have this thing called an e-visa, which means you can apply for it online. Sounds easy enough, right?
I went on to find the Montserrat government website. Then, I clicked around until I found the section for visas. There it was, the “Apply for an Online Montserrat E Visa” option. I clicked on that, and it took me to a form.

Filling out the form:
- I filled in all my personal details like name, address, passport number, you name it.
- There were some questions about the purpose of my trip, where I’d be staying, and how long I’d be there. Just the usual stuff.
- I made sure to double-check everything because you don’t want any mistakes on these things.
After I submitted the form, I paid the visa fee. It wasn’t too expensive, which was a relief. I mean, who wants to spend a fortune just to get a visa, right? Then came the waiting game. I was refreshing my email every five minutes like a crazy person. Finally, I got an email saying my visa application was approved! I did a little happy dance, I won’t lie.
Remember:
- Make sure you have a valid passport, that remains valid during your stay on the island.
- You’ll also need an onward or return ticket.
Honestly, the whole process was pretty smooth. I was a bit nervous at first, but it turned out to be easier than I thought. Now, I can finally start planning my trip to Montserrat. I’ve heard so many great things about the island, and I can’t wait to explore it myself. If you’re thinking about visiting Montserrat, don’t let the visa process scare you. It’s really not that bad.
