Order a Samoa Driving License: A Simple Guide for Drivers

Well, folks, today I’m gonna share a little adventure I had recently – getting a driver’s license in Samoa. Now, I’ve driven in a few different countries, but Samoa was a whole new ball game.

First things first, I found out that if you’re just visiting like I was, and you’ve got a full, valid license from your home country, you can apply for a temporary one in Samoa. Easy peasy, right? So I started to collect my own country’s driver’s license.

I gathered my documents and went straight to the Land Transport Authority (LTA) office. It’s pretty straightforward to find. I went inside, and the staff there were super helpful. They walked me through the whole process, step by step.

I filled out a form, paid the fee, and they checked my current driver’s license. It felt like it took just a few minutes.

• Go to the LTA office.
• Fill out the form.
• Pay the fee.
• Hand over your current license for them to check.

And you know what? They handed me my temporary Samoan driver’s license right then and there! I was expecting it to take days, maybe even weeks, but nope, it was all done in one go. I got it and could drive in Samoa.

So, if you’re planning to drive around those beautiful Samoan roads, just remember to have your current license ready, and getting a temporary one is a piece of cake. It’s a pretty smooth process, at least it was for me. Just walk into that LTA office, and you’ll be set in no time.
