Alright, folks, gather ’round, gather ’round! Today, I’m gonna tell you about the wild ride I had getting a visa for Bangladesh online. It wasn’t as smooth as I hoped, but hey, that’s life, right?
First things first, I started by digging around on the internet to see what the deal was with this whole Bangladesh visa thing. I found out that there are a couple of ways to get it – online and through the embassy. Seemed like the online way was the way to go for me, so I decided to give it a shot.
So, I headed over to this website where you can supposedly apply for an e-Visa. I started filling out the application, which was a bit of a pain, to be honest. Lots of details, you know? They asked for everything but my shoe size! Anyway, I powered through, double-checked everything, and hit that submit button.

Waiting Game
- After submitting, it was basically a waiting game. I heard that it usually takes 5 to 7 working days to process, but it can take longer. Luckily, I wasn’t in a huge rush, but I was still checking my email like a hawk every day.
Then came the payment part. You gotta pay the visa fee, and they had a few options like postal order or bank draft, or you could even use a card at their office in London. I just opted to pay online. I figured it’d be easier that way.
I have to wait for a long time until one day, bam! There it was, the email I was waiting for. My visa was approved! I did a little happy dance, I won’t lie. It was a relief, to say the least.
So, yeah, that’s my story of getting a Bangladesh visa online. It wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, but I got it done. Remember, if you’re planning to go to Bangladesh, make sure to apply well in advance, just in case things take longer than expected. And be prepared for a bit of a process, but hey, it’s all part of the adventure, right?
Stay tuned for more of my travel experiences!
