So, I wanted to get a Korean visa and I decided to do it all online. I’d heard it was pretty straightforward, and I’m not one for unnecessary trips to embassies or consulates. First off, I went straight to the official website for South Korean visas. Gotta make sure you’re on the right site, right?
Once I was on the website, I started looking for the visa application form. It wasn’t hard to find, thankfully. The site was pretty clear. I started filling out the application form online. They asked for all the usual stuff – my name, passport number, travel dates, and so on. I made sure to double-check everything because you don’t want to mess up on these forms.
- Passport: Checked that my passport was valid for at least six more months.
- Photos: I had some recent passport-sized photos.
- Application Form: I filled out the online application form on the website.
- Employment Proof: I prepared my employment verification letter.
Once I submitted the form, the waiting game began. It wasn’t too long, though. Within a few days, I got an email saying my application was being processed. Then, a little while later, boom! Another email, and this one had my visa attached. I printed it out, just to be safe, and that was it.

Honestly, the whole process was smoother than I expected. No need to go anywhere in person or deal with a bunch of paperwork. I did it all from my couch, in my PJs. Now I’m all set for my trip to Korea!
