Okay, here’s my experience about getting a visa for Uruguay.

Waiting Game

After I submitted everything, it was just a waiting game. The website said the National Directorate of Migration in Uruguay handles the visa approvals. They say it usually takes at least 30 business days to process from the date you apply. I kept checking my email every day, hoping for some news.

Getting the Visa

Finally, after waiting about a month, I got an email saying my visa was approved! The email said it was the Consulate that get the written authorization, and I could go there in person to have the visa placed on my passport. I went there immediately. They stamped my passport, and I was good to go.

The whole process was a bit of a hassle, especially waiting to hear back. But in the end, I got my Uruguay visa, and I’m super excited for my trip!
