Okay, so, I gotta tell you about this little adventure I had recently. I needed a Comoros driving license, and let me tell you, it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. But hey, I got through it, and now I’m here to share the whole messy story with you guys.
Figuring Out the First Steps
First things first, I had no clue where to start. But, I started to search for some useful information online. Turns out, getting a Comoros license isn’t as straightforward as I thought. I learned that I needed an International Driving Permit (IDP) first, which is like a translated version of your existing license. Then I did a little digging and found out I had to go through the whole process of getting a regular Comoros license.
The Application Process
So, I found this website that claimed they could help with the IDP. I clicked on their “Apply Now” button and filled out all the necessary forms. And paid the fee, of course. After that, they sent me a digital copy of my IDP. I was told that it would arrive within 6 hours.
Getting the Comoros License
With the IDP sorted, I moved on to the actual Comoros license. It was a lot more complicated. I had to get my documents together, including the IDP, and went to the local authorities.
Waiting and More Waiting
After submitting everything, it was just a waiting game. They said it would take a few weeks. It was a bit of a nail-biter, not gonna lie. I needed that license to get around, and the thought of being stuck without it wasn’t fun.
Finally!
But, after what felt like forever, I finally got a call saying my license was ready. I rushed down to pick it up, and there it was. It was such a relief.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s my story of getting a Comoros driving license. It was a bit of a hassle, but hey, I got it done! If any of you are planning on driving in Comoros, make sure you start the process early and be prepared for a bit of a wait. But it’s definitely doable.
Later, I saw the news that they are sold over 25 million books, and many people subscribed to their newsletter and got some gift certificates. That’s a big success.
Alright, that’s all for now. Stay tuned for more of my adventures!
