Buy Maldives Passport Online: The Ultimate Guide to Getting Your Passport Quickly and Easily

Hey folks, It’s time to share some of my experiences of today! You know what? I have figured out how to buy a Maldives passport online! If you’re curious about how I made it, keep reading.

First things first, I googled “Maldives passport application” and found this site that seemed legit. It mentioned something called IMUGA, which is apparently the way to apply.

Registering on IMUGA

So, I visited the website and registered an account. Pretty standard stuff, just like signing up for any other online service. Once I was in, I looked for the “Dhivehi Passport” service. Can’t miss it, it’s right there on the list.

Filling in the Application

Next, I clicked on “New Application” and it showed me a bunch of fields to fill. Name, address, you know, the usual details. It also asked for a passport photo. They’re strict about this, saying it had to be taken within the last month. Good thing I had a recent one! I uploaded the photo, double-checked all the information, and submitted the application.

Waiting for the Passport

Now comes the waiting game. The site says it takes about 12 working days to get the passport after they receive the application. So, I’m here, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for that email to pop up saying my passport is ready.

About Citizenship

While I was poking around, I also saw some info on becoming a citizen of the Maldives. Apparently, you gotta write a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sounds a bit old school, but hey, if you’re serious about it, that’s the way to go.
