I’ve been meaning to get an Israeli ID card for a while now, and I finally decided to do it online. I gotta say, the whole process was way easier than I expected.
First, I started looking around for where to even begin. I found this website that seemed legit, it’s called “Israel catalog,” and it had all sorts of Israeli stuff. I figured they must know what they’re doing, right? It turns out they’re like the go-to place for all things Israeli.
Then I stumbled upon a bunch of online stores that had a ton of Israeli products. One of them had a huge variety of Kosher foods, snacks, and spices. It was pretty cool, they even did nationwide delivery, so that seemed promising.

Next, I found this app, “10bis.” It lets you order food and stuff for delivery or pick-up at the office. I thought, “This is perfect, just what I need.” The app is really user-friendly, and people can order together or separately, which is neat.
I also saw something about this app called “Wolt.” People were saying it’s one of the best things to happen to the Tel Aviv food scene in forever. Apparently, it’s super easy to find what you want and get it delivered to your house or office. It sounded pretty convenient, so I kept that in mind.
While I was looking around, I found out about gift cards. I didn’t know you could buy gift cards for Israeli businesses, but it makes sense. There are over 200 brands to choose from, and they get delivered real quick, like five minutes to 24 hours. Plus, there are no fees, and the funds don’t expire. That’s a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
There’s even this subscription box thing that supposedly delivers artisanal food and crafts. They say it follows in the footsteps of Jesus, which is a bit of an odd selling point, but it’s an option, I guess.
So, after all this browsing, I finally started the process of ordering the ID card. I filled out the forms, uploaded the required documents, and paid the fees. I was a bit worried about the whole thing, but it actually went pretty smoothly.

A few days later, I got an email saying my order was being processed. And then, lo and behold, a couple of weeks later, my Israeli ID card arrived in the mail! I couldn’t believe how easy it was. I mean, I did it all from my couch, in my pajamas. No lines, no hassle, just a few clicks and a bit of waiting.
Honestly, I’m pretty impressed with how efficient the whole thing was. I’d definitely recommend doing it online if you’re thinking about getting an Israeli ID card. It saved me a ton of time and effort.
My overall feeling
It’s pretty neat how much stuff you can do online these days. Getting an Israeli ID card used to be this whole big ordeal, but now it’s just a few clicks away. Technology, man, it’s a wild thing.
