Alright, so I’ve been needing to get a Lithuanian driving license for a while now. I’m not from around here, so the whole process seemed a bit daunting at first. But guess what? I finally did it, and I’m here to share how I managed to order one online.
Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out if I was even eligible. Turns out, since I’m not from the European Union and I’ve been staying in Lithuania for more than six months, I needed a local license. So, I dove into researching what I needed to do.
The Process
- Eligibility Check: Made sure I met the residency requirements. They say you gotta have your place of residence declared in Lithuania.
- Gathering Information: I spent some time figuring out what documents I needed. Turns out, it’s pretty standard stuff.
- Theory and Practice: From what I gathered, I realized I had to pass some theoretical exam and get practical driving lessons. I started studying up on Lithuanian traffic laws and regulations – better to be safe than sorry, right?
- Knowledge of Legal Acts: You gotta know the rules of the road here, and they test you on that. No shortcuts, just plain old studying.
- Submitting Documents: The usual stuff here. Got all my identification and residency documents in order.
Making It Happen
After I went through all of that, I finally got my Lithuanian driving license! It was a process, but honestly, not as bad as I thought it would be. Just gotta follow the steps and stay organized.

Now, I can drive around Lithuania without any worries. It’s a great feeling to have that sorted. I just want to say, if I can do it, you can do it. Do not be afraid!
This is my experience getting a Lithuanian driver’s license. I hope it helps anyone who’s in the same boat!
