Alright, so I needed to get a visa for Cape Verde, and I was like, “No way I’m dealing with embassies.” So, I decided to do it all online. It took some time to finish it. Let me tell you how it went down.
First things first, I needed to find the right website. I did a bit of searching, and it seemed like the government’s site was the way to go. The online application is called E.A.S.E. You know, the usual deal with official websites, a little bit confusing. But I found it since 1 January 2019.
Next, it was time to create an account. I put in my email, made up a password, and boom, I was in. No biggie there.

- So, I started filling out the application form. It had all the standard stuff like your name, passport details, travel dates, all of that. I just took my time and made sure I didn’t mess anything up.
- Then came the document part. I had to upload a scan of my passport and a recent photo. Making sure those were clear and up to their standards was important.
- After all that, it was time to pay up. They had a few options, I think, but I just used my credit card because it’s the easiest.
Once I submitted everything, it was just a waiting game. They said it could take a few days to process, so I just kicked back and relaxed. And guess what? A few days later, I got an email saying my visa was approved!
The eVisa arrived in my email, and I just had to print it out.
Seriously, the whole online process was way easier than I thought it would be. No standing in line, no dealing with paperwork in person, nothing like that. If you need a visa for Cape Verde, I definitely recommend doing it online. It’s quick, it’s easy, and you can do it all from your couch!
