They go all over, these boats, and sometimes you need a special card to get into them places, even Bermuda. Makes sense, I reckon. They gotta know who’s comin’ and goin’.
Then there’s that CAPS ID thing. Sounds fancy, but I don’t know much ’bout it. Somethin’ ’bout customs, I think. You gotta fill out a form, they say, and give ’em a picture of your driver’s license, if you got one. And some other stuff too, I guess. It’s all on the computer now, you know. Everything’s gettin’ so complicated these days.

Now, I seen some folks sayin’ you can just buy these ID cards, these biometric ones. They got your fingerprint on ’em, I hear. Sounds mighty fishy to me. How can you just buy a card like that? It’s like buyin’ someone else’s whole life, ain’t it? I don’t trust it, no sir.
Most folks, they just go to Bermuda for a visit. That’s what I hear. And they say it ain’t hard to get in. You just need your passport, a real one, not one you bought from some fella on the street. And it’s gotta be good for the whole time you’re there. Makes sense, I suppose. They wanna make sure you ain’t gonna overstay your welcome.
They got this thing now, a Bermuda Arrival Card. Sounds easy enough. Just a little form, they say. Takes two minutes. You fill it out before you go, and it makes things go faster when you get there. They email you somethin’, and you show it to the man at the border. Less waitin’ in line, I guess that’s good.

Now, I heard some folks sayin’ you can get an ID card for any country in Europe, just like that. Spain, Italy, Poland, you name it. They make it sound so easy. But I tell you what, it don’t sound right to me. How can it be that easy? There’s gotta be a catch somewhere.
